Who Do You Trust?

This season has stretched my faith in ways I didn’t see coming. Through the years, I’ve come to rely on my stable job to provide for me. As a federal employee on furlough, I won’t receive a paycheck until the government passes a budget—but this moment reminded me that my true Source isn’t my paycheck, it’s God.
It’s easy to lean on what feels secure—our jobs, our plans, our routines—but when those things shift, we’re faced with a deeper question: Who do I really trust?
That question led me to a powerful reminder: 👉 T.R.U.S.T. – Totally Relying Upon Spiritual Truth
Trust isn’t something that just happens; it’s something we practice. It’s what we do when anxiety shows up or when the “what ifs” try to take over our minds. It’s choosing to stand on what God says instead of what circumstances look like. It’s a daily decision to surrender and believe that His Word is still true—no matter what we see.
Maybe your test of trust looks different than mine. Maybe you’re believing God to restore a broken marriage. Maybe you’re praying for the salvation of a loved one. Maybe you’re trusting Him to heal you or someone you love. Maybe you’re waiting for direction about your next chapter. Maybe you’re grieving a loss or learning how to start over.
Wherever you are, I want to remind you: God’s Word will stand. His promises don’t shift with the seasons of life. His plan for you hasn’t been canceled—it’s being cultivated, even in the waiting.
That’s why it’s so important to search the Bible and discover what God’s Word says about your situation. When you know what His Word declares, you’ll know what to stand on. His Word is stronger than our worry, and His plan is bigger than our pain.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”— Proverbs 3:5–6 (NKJV)
Today, I’m choosing again to Totally Rely Upon Spiritual Truth—not because it’s easy, but because I’ve seen what happens when I don’t. God has never failed me yet, and He won’t fail you either.
So take a deep breath, Sister. Trust isn’t about knowing how everything will work out—it’s about knowing Who holds it all together.
💜 Reflection Question
What area of your life is God inviting you to trust Him with today?Write it down, find a scripture to stand on, and pray over it this week.
🙏 Prayer
Lord, help me to trust You completely—when I can’t see the outcome, when the waiting feels long, and when fear tries to creep in. Remind me that Your Word is true, Your promises are sure, and You are my Source. Amen.
